"A&E visit"

About: Royal Gwent Hospital Royal Gwent Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

Went to A&E Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport with chest pains when breathing. Was immediately given ECG and reassurance that my heart was fine. Over the course of the next few hours I was given many tests to rule out any serious underlying condition. All the nurses and doctors were wonderful, professional but kind and caring, taking time to explain everything along the way and make sure I understood what was happening and why. I could not have asked for better treatment. The teamwork is second to none. When so many complaints are made about the medical profession I think it is important that positive reports are made.
