"Pre-term birth at Nevill Hall"

About: Nevill Hall Hospital / Special Care Baby Units

(as the patient),

I went in at 30+5 weeks due to blood loss and intense pain. I had a swab test done to see if I was at risk for pre term labour. I was given steroids for 48hrs.

I was then sent home as the bleeding stopped only to be admitted again at 34 weeks. My waters went durrig the early hours one night. My little man arrived that day at 34+3 weeks. He was taken into neonatal where the staff were friendly and helpful. I felt helpless so the nurses agreed for me to do every feed including the tube feeds.

All staff were fantastic and helpful, can't fault a single member of staff. They also allowed me to stay until he was allowed home.
