I have just spent 3 days in Birch C & D wards ( got moved around a bit ) and what excellent treatment I received . I was admitted by ambulance via A & E and even there where they are run off their feet I received excellent care . I was in A& E for approx. 2 hrs while a bed was found and received regular attention , medication etc and was kept informed of the situation all the time . When I moved up to Birch C and later on to Birch D the level of care and attention rose even higher , those staff were fantastic , both day and night staff were caring , helpful , considerate and attentive , nothing was too much trouble to them and the consultants etc were just as good . A big surprise was the level of cleanliness , it was really good , cleaners were regularly around and they were very thorough , even they were friendly and cheerful . It was far better than I dared to expect , both my mother and sister have had bad experiences at the infirmary in the past , so I was rather apprehensive but if Beech C&D are representative of the situation now then I would have no worries about being admitted and would recommend it very highly ,
"Excellent treatment"
