I just thought I would pen a quick letter to say a very big thank you to all concerned for looking after my Dad who was recently admitted to HASU and afterwards to Harvest B ward. Sadly he passed away on January 4th,but throughout his 2 months stay was treated with love, care and respect. I cannot praise all the staff in both wards enough, their dedication is unceasing and all through Christmas Day and New Years Day the care didn't change. Mum and Dad even celebrated their 65 wedding anniversary in Harvest B with lots of good wishes from everyone . The care he received could not be faulted. My mother visited every day and was always greeted by staff and was made to feel very welcome. People are too ready to complain and never say thank you when they get good service. Thanks once again to all the teams in these wards and I will be contacting the ward managers soon - we asked for donations at my Dads funeral for these departments and I want to make sure the money goes to the right place and not just swallowed up into the ether. Thanks once again for everything during this very difficult period. MJ Burgess
