"Home Birth Team"

Having already had a successful home birth three years ago, and receiving excellent service, I decided to opt for a home birth again for my second pregnancy. The set up for home births has changed since my first labour, with the introduction of a dedicated home birth team. I found this to be a wonderful service and had the opportunity to meet all the homebirth midwives before going into labour so I had good chance of having a midwife I already knew and trusted during my labour. I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful midwife I had on the night and the care I received from all of the team. Unfortunately I had to be transferred into hospital however continued to receive excellent care and support from my community midwife throughout my labour.
