What I liked

I cannot praise highly enough this hospital and the treatment I received from doctors, nurses, care assistants, theatre staff, porters etc. etc. The wards, bed areas and bathrooms were shiny clean; the food could be a little more appetising. All in all, if one is unwell and hospitalised you couldn't be in a better place. Well done to all staff and thank you!

When one is sent home the day following surgery it would be helpful if there was follow up from GP's surgery, ie. district nurses either telephone to see if you are alright or even better, a visit. My wound became infected and it was almost impossible to get a nurse or doctor for a home visit. In the end I was referred to A&E, Kingston where I was admitted for treatment.
