What I liked
Not much at all
What could be improved
I went into the hospital as a Hyperemesis patient which meant that I was dripped for three nights.
The lack of knowledge of the nurses was appalling. I was treated by a particular nurse for two days and she didn't even know know what I was suffering from and hadn't heard of my condition.
Even worse, I was almost given the wrong medication by two different nurses on two seperate occassions. I had so little confidence in the staff that I felt I had to ask qustions at each stage of my treatment so they didn't do anything incorrectly.
The nurses did not wear gloves when treating the patients and did not use the antibacterial creams.
I am expecting a baby in 6 months time. My experience of ealing hospital was so horrendous that I have decided not to have my baby at this particular hospital and am now looking to find one that perhaps can instill a little more confidence in its patients.
