My wife had an endoscopy examination on Friday 10th Jan 2013. She & other outpatients experienced a significant delay due to unavoidable emergency in-patient work but the staff did their best to catch up. Nobody waiting had any problems with this since it was clearly communicated. Very importantly, the consultant,had an excellent manner & all the staff were friendly & caring. At the end of her treatment my wife was full of praise for the work of the consultant & staff in the Unit. Many thanks.

Many thanks for your feedback - it was good to see how well communicated with and supported both of you felt whilst waiting for your wife's examination to take place. Whilst emergencies like this do happen, it's how we keep people informed as to what's happening with their appointment that is equally important (something on which a great deal of emphasis is now placed). The endoscopy team will no doubt be delighted with your feedback, which is winging its way to them right now.
