"Ward 11"

About: Leicester General Hospital

This was my 2nd time on ward 11. The first was in August. There were a few familiar nurses. The ward is spacious and immaculate. Nurses are lovely. No problems with the care I received from them although when I got home it appears I should have been sent with some painkillers which I wasn't given. Also bit annoyed that the consultant didn't come to see me after and I had to make do with the nurse making out his handwriting. So let's hope she got it right.

Dear Nat, Thank you for taking the time to post your response. It's great to hear that you were pleased with the level of care you received at the General and this feedback has been passed on to the nurses on the ward. We do, however, apologise that you didn't receive the correct medication when you were discharged and were not seen by a consultant. We would like the opportunity to investigate this further. To enable us to do so, please could you email your name, address and date of birth to Gynaecology matron, Rachelle.Bowden@uhl-tr.nhs.uk We value all feedback as it will help us to improve our services for future patients. Best wishes, Communications team, Leicester's Hospitals
