"Cataract surgery"

About: Royal Preston Hospital

I was treated by an uncommunicative, arrogant and officious doctor who seemed to think it was acceptable to stick a needle in my eye with no form of sedation or anesthetic what so ever and completely against my wishes. The department seemed to feel it was acceptable to make me wait in excess of 8 weeks between eyes whilst suffering blinding headaches all the time and it was only my refusing to accept no for an answer that got the second procedure done in anything like good time. There is a serious degree of doubt in my mind now as to whether or not the surgery was appropriate as my sight in one eye is worse than before it was carried out. Finally they told me I would be having a further procedure to correct this and yet to date I have still not heard anything about this some two months or so on down the line. Not Good.
