I went to DRI with a bad gallstone attack about 2 years ago, then not long after my gp referred me back and was diagnosed with gallstones. 3 weeks later i saw a consultant there after being examined etc he said for me to have surgery i needed to lose weight and gave me another appointment and that was it. No help with diet, no explaining why, nothing, well i couldn't see him at next appointment due to struggling loosing weight. 2 years later and I'm still suffering. I have seen/heard of people being over 35 stone and having surgery for gastric bands etc yet I'm 16.12 in not allowed surgery so have to suffer. Would not recommend this hospital to anyone
