"stroke"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

My mum had suspected stroke and had to go to A+E. Arrived at 2130 and the time we were seen was midnight. Stroke nurse had to be contacted several times before she came down to see her in a corridor!! So much for fast!!! Luckily she didn't have a stroke but could not work out why she was having these symptoms. Stayed in a stroke unit with moaning staff. No answers given! We were informed weekend DRs were very thin on the ground so had to wait ridiculous time to be discharged. Don't be unwell on a weekend!!!
