"Outpatient appointment "

I had an out patient appointment at Watford General Hospital to see Maria the Rheumatolgy Nurse Specialist.

Both Maria, the staff nurse and the health care assistant were all polite and very helpful.

However the queue at the desk to hand the form, which told them I didn't need another appointment, took longer than waiting for the appointment and seeing Maria put together.

At St Albans City Hospital (same Trust) they staff on the desk have a buzzer so they can summon another clerk when the queue gets too long, which would have been a very good idea yesterday.
