"Eye Clinic process"

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

It is very inappropriate to issue appointment letters to numerous patient for the same time and when they come in early to check in for their appointment, that there is no staff on reception. So I had come, with my mom at 1:00pm for an appointment at half 1. Only to see that the receptionist is on lunch till half 1, when my appointment is. The issue is that, I am not the only on who has the appointment at half 1. Now I am having to spend a fortune on car parking because the amount of wait I will have to do for the lack of planning or organisation the nhs has. The appointment was already amended by yourself and now I am having to wait further more. This is already impacting my work as well as I have to inform them that I am not able to give them a time that I would be heading back. With any NHS services, they should give a time that you will be seen rather than pop down at this time and try your luck.
