What I liked

I've stayed in the maternity ward rwice now as both my sons were born by c-section and the satff were excellent, very helpful, kind and understanding. The 2nd time I was in I got a little upset and the staff were great. I've also had to rush my oldest boy up te a&e a few times and each time we were seen almost as soon as we arrived. The maternity ward was clean without smelling of cleaning chemicals and I would definitley go there again if I have another child.

What could be improved

More midwives wold help, the poor staff were run off their feet night and day seeing to all us new mums and making sure we were ok and had all we needed. I'm guessing most of them didn't even get a proper break to rest yet they never once complained or got impatient. More staff would ease the pressure on them and lighten what must be a very heavy work load.
