"treatment my mum received"

About: Cheltenham General Hospital / Accident and emergency South of England commissioning region South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as a relative),

Mum, aged 91, had a sleepless night and felt" tight band" around her chest.

Visited GP (Dr Anna Childs) at Stow on the Wold surgery.

First rate service from Dr and 3 practise nurses. All very caring and helpful.

Ambulance called and arrived very promptly. The 2 female crew were so caring and sympathetic. Mum is very deaf, the crew made sure mum understood all that was happening.

At Cheltenham General Hospital Mum was seen quickly and treated with kindness by all the staff in A&E.

I dont think anybody could have improved on the service both Mum and I received.

Dear Always

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope you mum is feeling better and is recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients, and their families, when they need us most.

I would like to pass on your thanks to the ambulance crew who came to you and your mum. In order to do this I need a little more information regarding where and when the ambulance attended. Please could you contact me, at your convenience, on 01392 453831 or email laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk.

Thank you again.

Laura
