"Physiotherapy services not fit for purpose"

About: King George Hospital

It is completely impossible to contact the Physiotherapy Department to arrange an appointment. It is always engaged regardless of the time. There are no other options to contact them to arrange an appointment. They do not respond to e mails or letters either.Goodness knows what old and otherwise vulnerable people who require these services do. In addition the 0208 number for the main hospital is also perpetually engaged though the 0845 number is immediately answered by machine(but calls are not answer red when put through to KGH). This is exploitative to say the least. This Trust provides an extremely poor and unprofessional service, which is a disgrace and should be sorted out.

Thank you leaving your comment. I’m sorry you have had trouble contacting the Physiotherapy department and that you have had no response to your emails or letters. In order to look into this for you, I require more information. Please contact me through our PALS team on 01708 435454 or email PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk. Yours sincerely, Stephen Burgess Medical Director
