"Still waiting followng CT scan that showed growth..."

About: James Paget University Hospital

I was admitted over a weekend with acute abdominal pain The CT scan that they took showed a small mass which they did not believe caused my symptoms but could be ? However as I have a previous history of CA they compared the results with my previous scans and decided it needed further investigation . 2 weeks later I received a letter telling me this and that a scan had been arranged I am still waiting! I am now requesting that my care is transferred to another hospital as soon as possible as if it takes 2weeks to write a letter I am worried how long it would take for them to actually do something

I am so sorry that I was not alerted to your post as I usually am. It is very difficult for us to investigate issues from anonymous postings as we can't look at the detail of your case. We absolutely put our patients first and if there is a delay, you should know why. If this has not yet been resolved, please do get in touch with our Patient Advice and Liaison Team on 01493 453240.
