my dad was admitted for pancras problem, every doctor seemed to have their own different diagnosis and nothing put in stone, it was only when we asked a nurse what was going on did things get moving even then the kept phoning freemans to ask what to do. my mam had to wash and change him she even found him covered in sick as he couldn't move.as for the pain relief machines what a waste of time 3 machines with alarms going off all the time and having to be reset and pipes cleaned .finally after 3 weeks of pain he was going to be moved to freemans.all his feeding and pain relief pipes were were changed ready for the move at 2 in the afternoon,at 530 a nurse says a taxi is ready to take him even though hes in pain and flat out in bed! at 1015 a nurse comes in and says its too late to move him no ambulance.next morning at 730 the nurse asked if we could wait till 12 noon even though freemans were expecting him yesterday and the bed was ready for him.we said no and all of a sudden a ambulance was found! freemans is 30 miles away but 100 times better treatment than north tees! as for pal wot a joke only action can be taken with the permission of the patient and not the family who have had to watch a loved one suffer because he doesn't want to make a fuss! so you get away with all the hassle weve had to put up! as they say don't call us we'll call you!
"you havent a clue!"
