"Staff and ward conditions"

I was on ward 8. I cannot praise all the staff on that ward enough. They were fantastic. The ward its self was not rest full however. Regret it smelt. Men walking about with next to no clothing on with bags hanging from them even when it was visiting times. Toilets did not look all that clean. But I believe that was due to the people in the ward and not the staff. Some people in the ward spent nights shouting and keeping the rest of the ward awake. Although this was due to them being in pain. Some people who were in beds appeared to me that they should have been in side wards ar at least have someone with them to spot them falling over when they tried to stand up. I would not really want to come back ward 8. If I had to I would consider paying for a private room. However, I would not want to change any of the staff, nurses etc as they were wonderfull.
