"No proper care - 3 days in a French hospital."

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

My GP send me to A&E. I had massive stomach aches, fever, no more appetite, fainting, I couldn't breathe normally and he found blood in mu urines. He was worried and clearly told me. I arrived in A&E, had a blood and urine test done. After 4hours without any news, I asked for an update. The doctor said that my blood "looked" fine when he looked through the glass? Urine sample was forgotten. I told him. He said it would be an extra 2hours to get the results and that I was better off going home, that I was fine and I will feel better. The next morning, was the worst.. I couldn't get out of bed because of the pain all over my body. I was sick, cold, warm, and fainted. I was on my own as my roommates work. I took the bus and went back to A&E, I was so desperate I needed help.. I arrived there, another doctor saw me. He said I maybe had muscle pain from walking? I am 22, and I run twice a week since I was 16. Which I told him, I said I thought something was wrong with my kidneys, or maybe another organ inside but that I needed him to help me that I couldn't take it anymore. The last time I went to see a doctor was 3 years ago, I'm never ill, always fine and taking care of myself. I said that if I was there it's because I knew something was wrong. He sent me back home. As no one would help me in a hospital, I didn't know what else to do. I took a plane ticket to France to go and see a specialist, I was so desperate that I would have done anything. Turned out I had kidney stones and a liver infection. All three organs (2 kidneys and liver) were infected. The doctor said that as I wasn't cured in time, the kidney infection infected my liver. I stayed in a French hospital for three days, under very strong medication. I, of course, missed a whole week and a bit of work. Paid a plane ticket to France + trains + hospital and medication. I am very disappointed and angry. I will never recommend the JR hospital to anyone, and will tell that story to people I know and meet. I literally couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe how much energy I've put in trying to convince doctors that I was ill and needed help. I really hope that the next person who shows up with kidney stones or infections will be cured properly and will not have to go through all this like I did. I am really upset and very very disappointed
