My brother was admitted acutely unwell under a Mental Health Act section order. His assessment and treatment was terrible. The nurses and doctors did not seem interested in making a diagnosis and at no stage where his family asked about their opinions. It just seemed like an exercise in discharging him as soon as possible. He has gone down hill since his discharge and has had no further follow up or input from Camden and Islington Mental Health Care. Appalling service. Please please try and avoid having a loved one admitted here if you want them to get better.
