I was a patient on ward E15 at the Queen's Medical Centre for the treatment of a paraumbilical hernia. The explanation of what to expect at pre-med was excellent - very reassuring. The theatre staff were great.
The cleanliness of the ward could have been better. The toilet seat was covered in blood and there was no water coming from the sink. These problems were still not remedied the following day.
Thank you to the theatre and pre-admissions staff.
