I have to much to say on here about my time in DMH, i could go on and on but I will say 2 year's after treatment I am still traumarised by my stay here and hopw I was treated and still have ongoing health problem's all because in my book they didn't look after me properly , there is just to many thing's to mention on here. be nice to have someone from the hospital take notice of aftercare and the effect it has on you afterwards. P.s - because of my ongoing problem's I was back in A and E about a month ago, when the doctor examined me I have a scar from abdominal surgery that is about a foot long and runs down from my belly button to my pubic bone, the doctor asked me is this your ceserean scar, now surely and capable doctor wpould know that it was not lol. I had gone in ....again, that day with chest, abdominal and back pain (which I constantly get now), They did blood's, the result's came back as normal, so that was it i was sent home, considering what I have been through in the past and what could be wrong with me surely xrays/scans etc should be done to double check, but when i thoroughly quizzed the doctor he refused and assured me that cos my bloods had come back normal then niothing is wrong with me......nevermind the fact i have 2 young kids hey so on his head be it if it is. When you write somethjing like this you get the automated email from DMH be nice to get a personal reply. Many many people said to me and are still in disbelief that I never went down the legal route with this hospitasl a couple of years ago, maybe i should have if id known the effect this would have on me but hey to late to now.......the most wrorrying thing for me is that i have to go back there in feb for a small keyhole surgery and im having nightmares about having an overnight stay in this place, and recovery and re-occuring problems. Anyway sighning of.......written a bit more than i planned but trust me ewouldnt know where to start if i went through the whole story,,,,,,,,nurses can be very abusive with your mind! Beware please.
