My experience of this hospital has been horrendous! Long waiting times even with an appointment (3 hours) and total lack of communication - unco-operative staff. Mistreatment of injury resulting in a worse injury after treatment. 'Good Hope' should be renamed as 'No Hope'. I went for a 10.40 a.m. appointment and was finally seen at 1.20 p.m. with no explanation during this time as to why the long wait. Then when I went to have my broken wrist plaster ed with a 'moulded' plaster (displacement of wrist manipulated into correct position during plastering) the nurse couldn't find the x-ray on computer so 'guessed' how he should manipulate the position. The cast should have been on for 6 weeks but then removed in error after 3. The dr then decided that it wasn't 'worth' replacing the plaster and instructed me just to be careful. 12 weeks later my hand is still in a dreadful condition and in the words of my local GP my hand is 'deformed' and unlikely to ever be normal. Great! I would avoid this hospital at all cost....
