"Ward 1 A&E"

I was referred to A&E by my GP. I had a knee injury and my GP thought there may be a DVT. I was seen by a DR in A&E who sent me for x-rays of my knee and chest and blood tests, He was very professional. I was later admitted to Ward 1. I was waiting for a DVT scan and also to be treated for fluid on my lung. All staff were very caring and professional during my stay on the ward. The food was also good with a selection of meals. I was diagnosed with DVT and referred to the anticoagulant clinic on my discharge, My only minor complaint was being discharged before an appointment had been booked at the anticoagulant clinic and had to visit the hospital everyday for 5 days for blood tests to, so a Dr could prescribe my Warfarin dose however again the staff in the diagnostic clinic were very caring and thank you to the volunteers in the clinic who made us cups of tea. A big Thank you to all staff in A&E, Ward 1, X-ray, diagnostic clinic and the anticoagulant clinic and also catering staff.
