"Waiting Time For Emergency Cases"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

I was admitted (for a 4th time) as a Emergency Case. For the first time I had to wait 4 hours as an emergency then taken to an assessment ward. After I was admitted to the Assessment Ward I was moved a few minutes later to a surgical ward. It took around 13 hours before I saw a relevant member of staff, who did not understand why I had to wait so long with an extensive medical history. I am extremely disappointed and worried that if I am admitted again, I may not be as lucky.
