Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your father’s experience of our Coronary Care Unit. We are sorry to hear that you feel you were not kept informed about your father’s care as maintaining good communication with our patients and their families is very important to us. It is unfortunate that we weren’t able to address the problem with your father’s meal at the time. If patients have issues with the meals they are served we would encourage them to raise this with any member of nursing staff who will be happy to help. We will, however, bring this to the attention of the catering staff. We welcome all feedback and would like to assure you that all comments are taken seriously and acted upon as part of our ongoing commitment to improving patient experience. If you wish to contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on free phone 0800 073 0510 we will happily look into the issues you have raised.
