"Emergency Eye Clinic"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I went to the Emergency Eye Clinic on Tuesday 6 August 2013 with foggy sight in one eye. I was seen by a very nice doctor who told me I have damaged a blood vessel in my eye and that I should rest for 10 days and come back on Friday 16 August. When I asked if I could fly on business on Wednesday 14 August she told me to come back on the Tuesday and she would re-assess. Thankfully I decided to seek a second opinion on Thursday 8 August because I was diagnosed with Toxoplasmosis in my eye and had I waited as originally instructed I would have lost the sight in my eye.
