I've had my brace on for 2 and a half years now and finally the time has come to have my operation to correct my jaw alignment. I could not of asked for better teams to have had working on creating me a perfect smile, all of the staff were wonderful and friendly and the ward was amazing (as far as wards go!).
I've been in a few hospitals in my time and until now I've never appreciated staff so much, the ward was clean, tidy and even had the tv/telephone machines to keep me amused! The staff just couldnt do enough for me, I was in green bay and the bay itself only had 6 beds which gave me a better chance of getting a good nights sleep!
I'm hoping to have bands and brace removed by Christmas 2008 however until then the only thing that's off-putting about the QMC is the journey there. There is nothing quite as welcoming as a familiar smile.
Extra special thanks to Mr Rowson and Mr Clarke for giving me such a beautiful smile...when the braces are gone lol
