I had an epigastric hernia repair in May 2013. The wait was 7months from GP to Hospital, but it was well worth it! The team did a first rate job, and I felt well cared for pre operatively, and post operatively. The anaesthetists made me laugh at the worst bit that I was aware of (Thank you) The operation, or repair, went very well - afterwards I took 2 paracetamol, and no other pain killers were needed at any point. I had the same nurse pre-op and post-op as she was working a split shift. She was lovely, and that was helpful. My scar is fading all the time, and hardly shows. Many thanks to all the team.
