As a medical patient, I was aware that I could have been made to wait. In the event I was seen by a consultant and my potentially fatal arrhythmia was reversed within 5 mins. The reception staff were expert and courteous . The care I received was both personal and excellent as was my Consultant. It made me proud of the NHS that I have worked all my life for.
