"My Achilles' tendon operation 29/08/13"

Operations can be a daunting prospect at any time of life but I have to say the staff at this hospital and in particular The Treatment Centre were friendly, helpful, informative and caring and whilst I choose my words carefully it was actually an enjoyable experience, if that is at all possible ! (Yes, the morphine has worn off now !!) I visited this hospital twice. Firstly on tues 27/08/13 for my pre-operative meeting and then secondly for my leg operation two days later. My appointment times were on time (within 5 minutes of my given appointment time). I was given a room overnight which was immaculate and clean. The nurses were outstanding. Very helpful and caring and made my brief time there very settling and I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital. Really excellent work being done at Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre.
