Takes forever to be seen by a nurse. The management don't care about patients here whatsoever. They don't employ enough staff on the ground floor, and don't invest in training them properly. The term "the customer is always right" does not apply in the NHS. I felt like a mere statistic. 'Seen within 4 hours and treated with dignity by the staff'. The management have not got any idea about what is important to patients. They only focus on budgets and local targets. When I go to my hospital I expect to be treated in a timely fashion and given a quality service. Today I waited for hours, had a nurse tell me my problem was cured even though I disagreed, had to pay for my own medical supplies from Asdas because they had run out, and then go back later on during the day for further treatment, and wait again. But I'm sure there are managers being promoted and awarded bonuses for this service they are providing.
