"a nd e and wards"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

I cant fault the care that I had, it was first class. was put straight through to the doctors and had all the tests that were needed was let down by the after care as a referral was not sent to St Thomas as promised and I had to chase this and am still waiting for the heart monitor that was promised for 24 hours. everything was spotless and staff were great. Doesn't seem right that they have to pay for parking and that if they are on call they actually have to pay to stay there at night. Didn't like the mixed sexes and think that screens should be in place if this has to happen, not flimsy curtains

Thank you for your positive comments, but I am sorry to hear that you did not receive an appointment for the 24 hour monitor that you were promised. If you would like to telephone the Cardiorespiratory Department on 01634 825233 and tell us the details, we will try and find out what has happened, and get this, and your referral to St Thomas's Hospital, organised for you. Glenda Lambert Principal Cardiac Physiologist
