"The whole process hardly took 1 hour! "

About: New Cross Hospital / General medicine Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I was seen by a friendly receptionist. A nurse guided me and my wife to the sub wait areas and I was seen by Dr Amer within 10 minutes. He quietly and very methodically checked my symptoms and gave me the (expected) diagnoses.

It was explained to me what will happen regarding treatment and the nurse came out and "returned" me to my wife.

The whole process hardly took 1 hour!

I cannot fault the referral process or how I was treated. My low marks are because my GP said he did not think I had the condition that the consultant diagnosed later on.
