I was in A&E dept two weeks - reception desk very unfriendly, did not acknowledge my presence for several minutes, when I did speak to them ,one word answers, very disappointed and this the second time I have had this treatment within one year. Zero customer service skills. The nurse who saw me was indifferent but efficient and finally the doctor who checked me was friendly, concerned and professional.

As an organisation we are committed from learning from specific issues and from any mistakes we may have made. Hearing about where we can do better helps us to pinpoint where exactly to make improvements to the service we provide. The Trust apologies for the poor experience that you had in our A&E reception and with the nurse who saw you. It is pleasing to note that you received a friendly, concerned and professional approach from the medical staff.
