About: Lynfield Mount Hospital / Adult mental health service

(as the patient),

It's very clean and the food is brilliant. Staff are very respectful and they look after me very well. I think they should change the taps as they are on a sensor and stop when you are washing. I think they should let us have a smoke room as it is hard to smoke anywhere.

Whenever I want time to talk to nurses they give me a chance. I think the staff stick to rules and should be a bit more discretion. Nurses have listened to me very well but the doctor could take a bit more notice.

I would 100% recommend this hospital to others. Brilliant place.

I am writing to thank you for taking the time to write to us about your experience in our care. The team and I are always delighted when patients tell us about their positive experience. I will make sure the whole team involved in your care are provided with this feedback.

It is good to know that your experience was of a clean environment with good food. Mostly, I am pleased that the staff have treated you with respect and looked after you. Staff having time for patients is a priority for us and it is great that you experienced this. I know our staff work hard to put patients first.

You have provided us with some feedback on areas you would like us to improve, which is really useful. I appreciate the points you have raised and whilst we can address some of them, there are some things which need to apply for Health & Safety reasons or to meet legal standards, and to protect all patients in our care.

Our team will discuss the points together and see what changes we can make. In the meantime, thank you once more for taking the time to provide this feedback; it is really appreciated.
