"Deeply damaging and upsetting"

The catalouge of errors at this hospital over the last 5 years have been so great I don't know where to start. I have been sent to the hospital following a sucicide attempt and echo the person above who reported being shouted at by reception staff. I waited years to be seen by a mental health professional. Once I did it was discovered in my notes that I had been diagnosed as having a Borderline Personality Disorder at St Annes 4 years previously. This information had not been passed onto me, or to my GP. Had it been a great deal of suffering could have been avoided. My partner spent many hours on the phone trying to figure out what had happened and how we could proceed. He was in turns, screamed at, shouted at and hung upon. I have had to disengage with St Annes and 'Go it alone' I can honestly say that over a lifetime of depressive episodes the best decision I have ever made. Their constant screaming, shouting and abuse (I do not feel this is an over reaction). Made me worse and worse. If you have a freind or realtive being treated here I beg, yes, beg you to encourage them to seek help elsewhere. Good luck, I know how devestating this type of treatment when you are vulnerable can be.
