"My prostate cancer diagnosis"

After some urology investigations, instigated by my GP, my wife and I were called to a joint meeting at Torbay Hospital on 18 April with the Consultant Surgeon, a Doctor and Specialist Nurse to discuss my case. I am writing these comments to express my special thanks to the team at Torbay Hospital for their professional and caring manner in which they explained my condition and the various options open to me to cure my prostate cancer. My wife and I were very impressed with the time and detail given to us at the meeting. The team are worthy of special praise in their ’Bedside manner’ which my wife and I very much appreciated. In these times when the National Health Service is receiving much adverse media publicity it is nice to be able to give kudos where it is due. Many thanks for the NHS in providing such an excellent Oncology team at Torbay Hospital.
