"Broken wrist to left arm"

About: Tameside General Hospital

Went to A & E with injury at 5.00pm Friday evening...reception very helpful and informed triage nurse and was treated within minutes...lot in A&E...went through to xray and later to see nurse and doctor for further examination and temporary treatment and was admitted to ward by 7.45pm. Operated on Saturday and left Hospital on Sunday morning...it was a most efficient managed visit I have had to Tameside Hospital from reception to triage to nurse/doctor to anaethetist and surgeon. Overall it was a first class experience (if that's the way to describe it) and all the staff involved were very pleasant and courteous. Physiotherapy after was a similar experience.
