"Ward 21b"

About: Leighton Hospital

Aunty was admitted on the 31st January to ward 14 then moved to 21b where the care given to her was admirable she was kept clean, comfortable and although she would not eat they tried she passed away on 15th March but it was not through lack of care as the staff talked to her right to the end. Our thanks really go to all the staff in ward 21b

As the Ward Manager of ward 21B, I would like to thank ‘Anonymous’ for their lovely comments. We are very sorry for the loss of your Aunty. As a ward team, we strive daily to ensure the care that we provide to our patients is of an excellent standard – a standard that as individuals we would be pleased to receive for ourselves and our family. We are reassured through such comments that the care we provide is of these standards. Your comments will be shared with the ward staff as such feedback keeps staff morale high and informs them that their continued efforts are acknowledged and appreciated. Many thanks for taking the time to make your comments at what is a difficult time for you. Lisa Simpson, Ward 21B Rehabilitation Ward Manager
