I liked having a private side ward to myself, as I am not a very good sleeper. I also like my own space. The medical care was excellent. The meals were excellent and the nursing care was excellent.
The journey to the operating theatre could have been better as I had to be taken along the main entrance corridor to the hospital (lots of the public coming and going) and I was in bed covered, but felt this was a little undignified. There was either a corridor or a lift out of order.
