"Good medical care but poor admin at QMC Laser Clinic"

I was a patient in the Laser Clinic at the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy, which is damage caused to the retina by diabetes mellitus. The standard of medical care I received was very good.

However, the appointment system is failing the department hugely. On occasion, it has taken 5-6 days to get someone to reply to answerphone messages. This is after being told that they should be contacting me. I'm constantly ringing to leave messages to try and book appointments, and it all adds extra worry during a particularly stressful time.
