About: Sandhills Nursery United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

(as the patient),

I was given an appointment for 3rd week of Dec with the consultant to continue with my treatment. This was in Oct 2013 and in Dec I received a letter advising the appointment has been cancelled and no reallocation has been done at this point.

I phoned the appointments line and was given another appointment for Jan 2014 and was advised the cancellation was due to the consultant leaving the organisation.

5 days before my appointment in Jan 2014 I have received another cancellation letter, again not advising why the cancellation and again not reallocating me another one at this stage.

I phoned the appointments line today and got told the appointment has been cancelled as the clinic had been cancelled on that date altogether. Apparently I'm still under the old consultant's code but supposed to be seen by a different one. Again don't understand why the clinic has been cancelled a week before the date and also why there hasn't been any reallocation for the appointment? Especially when I've been given another one on the phone when I phoned in and spoke to the appointment line? ! ?

I have found nursing staff friendly but doctors arrogant.

All this is beyond my or any patient's understanding really, I've been waiting for this appointment for so long and just getting disappointed once again and nothing else.
