A few days after returning from a holiday on the continent, including walking in farmland, I suddenly developed a rash on my lower leg. My husband, who's a first aider and a walker, told me to make an emergency appointment so I went along to an emergency appointment with my GP at Tillicoultry Medical Practice (NHS Forth Valley).
He was great, very knowledgeable and reassuring and took my blood for Lyme's Disease. The test results were back extremely quickly and I was so relieved to find it negative. He'd arranged for a follow-up appointment and this too left me feeling totally reassured.
Very happy with the whole experience, couldn't fault it.
