"I suspect this lack of treatment is what is prompting this referral"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as a service user),

My last referral was for dermatology, it took me 6 months to see a consultant at which point I was no longer eligible to continue with the medication I was on. 5 months later I get the follow up appointment after being told they would see me in four weeks.

The reason for the above referral was that I had to move address from Pembs to Telford, for work.

I suspect this lack of treatment is what is prompting this referral.

Dear 'Loot485'

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback.

TRAQS has been developed to offer a choice of provider at the earliest possible date and you should normally wait no more than 18 weeks from of your referral to the beginning of your treatment. Unfortunately, TRAQS has no control over waiting times for local clinics. The delays you mention must be due to pressures which your clinic is currently experiencing.

Nevertheless, thank you for taking the time to forward your comments and we wish you all the best with your treatment.
