With so many 'bad news' stories about the NHS I just wanted to highlight the excellent service I received from the Peterborough Out-of-Hours GPs at the new Walk-In centre.

Having been ill for a number of days we became worried that it was actually something serious. On phoning the Out-of-Hours GP a very friendly nurse asked us to come straight in and said we would be seen very quickly. Well we were - we barely had to wait five minutes. The doctor was very thorough and listened carefully to everything I had to say, even advising where we could pick up the prescription. It was an easy, reassuring service at what I know can be a pressured time of year for the NHS. Thank you to everyone concerned.
