I was admitted to walsall manor hospital for 5 days, where I stayed on ward 10 for three days and ward 20c for the next two. I found during my time there I was very well looked after, I was checked on regularly, and the staff were all very friendly. My doctor helped me find out what was wrong and made me feel safe. I also had a junior doctor visit me often. He was the nicest person and reassured me when I was scared and upset, I'd love to know his name to be able to thank him with a card but I never found out, The only issues were communication between staff. Everytime somebody new approached me I had to inform them of my situation and remind them what medication I was on. My ct scan got cancelled three times because staff didn't let porters know id moved wards. However I got sorted in the end and when I was discharged I felt quite sad to leave. It was nice being in a place where you know you're always safe, and it was always lovely and clean! Ill definately be recommending this hospital to friends and family. Thankyou to all the staff for reassuring me and making me feel welcome and safe.
