Anything else?
My son was admitted at 5 month's old with suspected meningitis. After calling the out of hours doctor (as it was a Fri evening) we were told to go to the triage to be assessed. We were seen promptly and sent to the children's ward for further monitoring and investigation. The ward was clean, colourful and stimulating. The room was private for me and my son and we were checked on frequently. All through the night the nurses checked on us both and nothing was a bother. I write this as I feel people are always so quick to complain but very few take the time to praise those who make an unpleasant circumstance as comfortable and give children and parents the support they need. We returned 2 weeks after been discharged and received the same excellent service.
